REPERTOIRE
|
|

Richard Tattam from Repertoire Wines contacted us recently to check out his
range of small batch, boutique wines from Margaret River. He sent over some samples and we were
instant fans of the varietal and regional expression and the obvious integrity
and TLC put into the winemaking.
Each of the wines is accompanied by a quirky little story hinting at its
personality and the labels are influenced by swanky Art Deco
design.
Richard
has some serious winemaking chops.
Before Repertoire, he did three vintages at Cullen Wines, two at the
Three Hills winery and two in France at Moulin de Ciffre in Languedoc. Richard concentrates on the ‘noble’
varieties of the region: Cabernet Merlot, Shiraz, Grenache, Chardonnay,
Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. The
fruit is sourced from sub-‘appellations’ Karridale, Cowaramup, Willyabrup and
Treeton. The wines have already
medalled seven times at Boutique Wine Awards, Winewise Awards, Margaret River
Wine Show and Royal Perth Wine Show.
Repertoire also offsets their carbon emissions, so they’re a producer
with its heart in the right place!
