Glaymond and Tscharke are the vision of sixth generation vigneron Damien Tscharke who is also the proprietor and winemaker for these acclaimed wines. Having worked on his family’s vineyards for more than 20 years, he has developed an intimate knowledge of the vineyard sites and the unique terroir of the sub appellations of Marananga and Seppeltsfield, renowned for their prehistoric soils and Mediterranean climate.

Wines for the Glaymond portfolio are sourced from the Tscharke family vineyards established in 1961, planted to the classic varietals of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mataro and Grenache. Long recognised for their magnificent fruit production (the source of super premium fruit for Barossa’s most prestigious brands), Damien was determined to develop his own iconic brand to reflect the quality and integrity of the fruit.
